Flicker on first frame

Hello,

Something that I’ve noticed today and never come across before is when I’m using the zappar app to preview my projects I get a flicker on the first frame before my animation starts. It almost looks like the 3D model I’ve placed in the project but its so quick I can’t quite see what it is. This is happening across several projects I’m working on.

You can just about see it on the right half of the screen here.

Has anyone else had experience of this happening?

Hi Simon,

I’ve responded to your issue via email, however, I thought it’d be useful to post a general response here for others to keep in mind.

There are two methods in Studio to keep in mind if you experience flickering:

  • States and values along a timeline
  • How the timelines are being run

Be sure to check the values set for objects appearing are correct. Also, if your experience is not too complex, consider using actions to run your timelines instead.
