On the web I can just use devicemotion, but it seems that there is no way to access this information on Studio. Zapworks Studio’s accelerometer API, ironically, does not provide acceleration information.
The acceleration from the device can be used to tell if the user is moving the phone towards the ground or away from it, for example. This is useful for instant tracking or world tracking experiences. There are probably other use cases as well.
It would be great if the accelerometer API provided acceleration information.
