Web.zappar.com not scanning codes correctly

web.zappar.com seems to be behaving strangely, QR codes that were scanning correctly over the weekend are now returning the error shown in this screen shot:

when you click the launch button it relaunches web.zappar.com but then takes forever to load anything even for small experiences.

For reference I have tested this on two phones, Google pixel 3A and samsung s8
