Videoplayer Black Flashes

Hello everyone,

I want to know if is there a way to remove totally this black flash that happen when you start an embedded video. I thought this was the planeVideo changing his skin via code/properties so I removed all the code about it and setted the planeVideo’s material to video.

So technically this shouldn’t happen but the problem still persists. This happens in all project that has an embedded video, ins’t an especific project.

Hope you’re well :slight_smile:

We believe the black flash before an embedded video is dependant on the video being used.

I have created an example project to show how an embedded video saved locally can be seen (with no black flash) as soon as the project is loaded, the little red box can be touched to start the video.

Maybe if the video was higher quality or much longer, the black flash would appear, due to it taking more time to attach itself to the plane.

Thanks for the Zpp and the explanation, I think I’ve found the problem on my videoplayer zpp!
