Tracking Image: Train from Artwork or Output?

Greetings, Zaplings!

I’m new to the platform, and I’d like to track an image that could be printed on anything from a business card to a poster. The original artwork is an illustration in vector format. Would it be best to train using the original artwork or a photograph of the printed item?

For instance, if I created a business card using vector software, would it be best to simply output the image to train directly from the software? Or should I photograph an actual printed business card and import that for training?

I just used the actual artwork for the tracking image (output as a PNG), and it seems to work fine when I scan the printed item (physical business card in this case). :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes you will use your artwork for the tracking image.

Thanks, @stevesanerd. That’s what I did, and it works. :slightly_smiling_face:
