Raycaster and 3D object problem - SOLVED

UPDATE - SOLVED? Just putting this up for general information. We think that Raycasters will not detect 3D symbols. We have a plane following the path instead, and the 3D object attached using relativeTo property. That seems to have done it.

Hi, all. I could really use some help with a problem. My students are creating a game where a ghost appears and floats around the room, and a raycaster is use it to affect the ghost. We have managed to spawn an instance of the ghost which follows a path animation.

The raycaster does not seem to work the way it is set up. Can anybody help?
