Load 3d object from URL

my question is simple: how can I load a 3d Object saved on an external server?
In other words, I want to import and load a 3d Object from an amazon AWS server with scripting, is it possible?

Hi @aron.tessari,

Unfortunately this functionality is not possible.

Studio only allows 3D models saved locally to be imported.

If your model is an FBX or POD file you can drag the .fbx or .pod file into Studio’s Media Library import box to import them.

This model can then be scaled/positioned/rotated in the scene preview. If the file was saved on a server and loaded pragmatically, there would be no way to preview how this would look in the scene.

More information on importing 3D models can be found here - Importing 3D models into Studio.

Hope this helps!

Hi, I have little effort to answer your question

To import an OBJ, select File → Import… from the menu bar. Select the OBJ you wish to import** . You can also drag and drop your OBJ into the Resources panel. Once the OBJ is imported into Lens Studio, you should see it listed in your Objects panel as a new object added to the scene.
