How to scale, position, rotate new plane?

I’m new to zapworks studio so my question my have a simple answer. I was given a zapworks project and I’m going over it to see how it works. I tried to add another plane to the hierarchy but for some reason I can’t edit it. The bar on the top corner to scale, rotate, position and such doesn’t work. It’s like the button is broken.

Make sure its relative to the target image. And that you have selected it in the list.
