Galaxy s10 WebAR broken?

Around 2 or 3 weeks ago WebAR stopped working on Galaxy s10 phones. It shows the camera permissions denied page after accepting camera permissions. Camera permissions were set/reset for chrome and everything as well through the settings. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi Joshua,

Could you please let us know your phone’s Android version so we can try and test this for you?

Hope to hear from you,
Bob

@Bob hey any update on this?

Hi Joshua,

Thanks for letting us know.

This problem most likely occurs because upon first contact, if permissions are rejected for the website, they will stay rejected.

To reset your site settings from inside Samsung Internet:
• Tap on Burger menu
• Tap on Settings
• Click on Sites and downloads
• Tap on Manage website data
• Tap and hold on web.zappar.com, then tap ‘Delete’

If this does not resolve your issue, please let us know.

All the best,
Bob

Hi Bob,

We had never tried Samsung internet, so it asked for permissions and I granted them. It didn’t work and I tried the method you described but it doesn’t make them come back up.

I tried the same method in Chrome and it does make it ask for camera permissions again, but it still doesn’t work.

Best,
Josh
