Flat plane to 3d object

Hi guys,

I’m using ZapWorks Studio and would like to convert a flat plane to a 3d object. Each plane has scale values on the X,Y, and Z axis, but increasing the Z values doesn’t yield the results I expected.

Is there a way to achieve this in Zappar Studio without using Third-Party 3D-Software?

Thank you so much!!!

Hi @2416b,

A plane in Studio is a 2D object, which means that changing its z-axis value won’t affect the object itself as it doesn’t have a z-depth to begin with.

If you’re looking for a simple cube you can download our Primitives Shapes 3D asset pack from our 3D model library and import the 3D models to your project. There are also a bunch of other models available on there for you to use.

Hope this helps.

All the best,
Seb

Thank you for your answer Seb!

Sadly I don’t need a simple cube, but a variation of one. I have a picture of the “top” of the shape, it would be perfect if I could simply stretch its Z-axis to get the model I need.

So I guess modeling it myself is the way to go!

Thank you for your quick answer!
