Designer seems to by applying insane compression level to videos, so that they look really bad in the app. A way to control this would be very helpful!

Designers compression has been discussed in the following thread (Low image Quality), we are planning to improve the video quality moving forward but in the meantime we suggest using ZapWorks Studio for more control over video compression.

Why would you advice using zapp works studio when that software doesnt accept any video file because evrything is uploaded as a chess blsck and white image and doesnt work properly.
The fact that this answer is so old and the problem is not solved only shows that zapp works font really work on improving the user experience at all.
