Billboarding around the Z-axis

Issue: When using a billboard group node and inputting the values [0,0,1] the result is not as expected.

Affecting: ZapWorks Studio

Workaround:

1. Create a group node that will house the billboard group node and rotate it by 90 degrees in the X-axis.

2. Place/create a billboard group node within the group node created in Step 1 and set the rotation around the Y-axis [0,1,0].

3. Add a third group node within the billboard group node from Step 2 and rotate it by -90 degrees in the X-axis.

4. Place the content you want billboarded around the Z-axis in this final group created in Step

I was going to ask if this was fixed in the Ver 5.

I’m trying to make a (video) plane rotate around the ‘target’ while facing camera - if I use a billboard rotation is ignored, if I rotate the inside group the orientation to camera is ignored… any ideas?
