About the use of Google Analytics

Hello,
Currently, I am considering developing an application using WebAR.

I found a page called Google Analytics in WebAR in Zaapar’s Docs & Tutorials.
https://docs.zap.works/general/analytics/webar/
One of the conditions on the page was “Purchase of a custom WebAR Splash Screen add-on”.

I did some research on “Purchase of a custom WebAR Splash Screen add-on” and found the following page with the item “Custom Branded Splash Screen”.

Does “Purchase of a custom WebAR Splash Screen add-on” mean purchase of a “Custom Branded Splash Screen”?
If the above is true, does that mean we will be paying £5000 per year for one project to implement Google Analytics?

For example, by using Universal AR, I think that you can customize the code such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript by yourself, so if you embed Google Analytics tags in the HTML page, you can also reduce the cost of Google Analytics. I’m thinking, but what about?
https://docs.zap.works/universal-ar/

I would like to know how to reduce the cost of introducing Google Analytics or reduce the cost to zero.

Best regards.

Hi @tokuyama,

Thanks for the questions regarding analytics.

ZapWorks Studio

You’re exactly right, third-party analytics for Studio made projects are only available for custom splash screens. This is because we develop a brand new site that the content is hosted on, in which we can add the different tags that are required by third-party analytics. Due to our in house team developing the site, price of these custom splash screens start at £5,000.

All other experiences are hosted on web.zappar.com, arweb.app, etc and therefor we can’t add specific third party logs to that site.

You can use ZapWorks analytics for any experience made in Studio.

Universal AR

If you wanted to use Universal AR, you are developing a website and integrating our AR computer vision libraries into that site, because of this, you have full control over whether you implement third-party analytics into it.

It sounds like Universal AR would be the best tool option to use here.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi @George

Thank you for your prompt reply.
I have read the answers and some questions have arisen.
I would like to ask an additional question.

In the description of ZapWorks Studio that you commented on, it says that if you host it on web.zappar.com, arweb.app, you cannot add third party logs.

All other experiences are hosted on web.zappar.com, arweb.app, etc and therefor we can’t add specific third party logs to that site.

Need to pay more than £5,000? Is it not possible to use Google Analytics with Universal AR hosted by ZapWorks in the first place?

I checked the following page about ZapWorks hosting by Universal AR.
https://docs.zap.works/universal-ar/hosting/

If you wanted to use Universal AR, you are developing a website and integrating our AR computer vision libraries into that site

After reading your answer above, I thought Universal AR could only use Google Analytics if it was self-hosted. Is it correct?

For self-hosting, I think you will inevitably need to choose the Enterprise plan.
https://zap.works/pricing/

I would like to know the possible plans for building Zappar WebAR and Google Analytics other than “Purchase of a custom WebAR Splash Screen add-on” and the minimum price for using those plans.
Since the price of the enterprise plan is not disclosed, we would appreciate it if you could tell us the lowest price that could be helpful.

Best regards.
