This isn’t possible with ZapWorks Designer, however, this would definitely be possible using ZapWorks Studio.

I think neon signs can never be 3d. As we know neon signs are light emitting signs that attract the audience from far distance. Most of the signs are not visible in night and that’s why did not attract the audience in night but neon signs nyc are available in all colors and designs in order to capture the intention of audience through emitting of light.
It may be possible to some extent using emissions when you make the 3D model of the object or yo ucan experiment with light sources buy positioning them inside your neon sign such that there is a transparent material that would let the light espace and an opaque material to block the light creating a neon light. A good start would be experimenting with bloom pass : Bloom Pass Three.js
