Static absolute position for object

Hi everyone. Excuse in advance if this has been answered before.

I use several apps that support AR such as the Qlone 3D scanner and Sketchfab. They work by establishing an absolute persistent position for the object. Once you plant the object on a flat surface, it stays there. You could walk away and it’s still where you left it.

Is Zappar able to do this? I’m not talking about snapping back to the tracking image. I’m talking about establishing its position at the tracking image and from that moment on having the object stay in that spot regardless of where the tracking image is. Possible?

Hi There,

These type of software are using ARKit/ARCore or their own implementations to be able to track parts of the real world without the need for any codes.

This is something we’re looking to implement sometime this year if possible but we don’t have an exact ETA on this right now.
