Yes, I do that quite often to match corporate branding. Import them as an image and then give them an action under properties.

@mike.peates had the exact right idea, and you can do the same with Designer (Beta) too!
If you have a particular graphic that you would like to use as a button, simply import it to your Designer canvas as an image component. You can then use actions on that image to make it act like a button.
